Southern California Locals Continue to Bargain with Big Three

ALBERTSONS

On February 15th, the seven locals resubmitted their contract proposals to Albertsons, the same proposals
 presented to the company in January.

At this point, Albertsons has not responded to these proposals.

This means the ball is now in their court. Unless we receive quick, good-faith response from management, the likelihood of reaching an agreement by March 5th is in doubt.

Several meetings have already taken place with representatives from Albertsons over the past three weeks. The last meeting took place on Thursday, February 15th.

VONS/RALPHS

The seven southern California locals are reaching out to Vons and Ralphs and making efforts to negotiate a
fair contract by clearly outlining their goals, specifically ending unfair wage scales and improving benefits for all members.

The first meeting with Vons took place on Monday, February 12th, and the first meeting with Ralphs took
place on Monday, February 5th. Follow-up meetings will be scheduled soon.
