The Labour Relations Board has dismissed Overwaitea's attempt to stop
converted PriceSmart members' right to participate in the strike vote.
Overwaitea applied to the Labour Board last week in their attempt to silence converted PriceSmart members and prevent them from taking part in today's strike vote. The Labour Board has rejected Overwaitea's application, and all converted PriceSmart members in Zone 1 DO have the right to cast their ballot and vote today. Members in Save-On Foods stores in Zone 1 will be taking a strike vote tomorrow, April 10. Strike votes are taking place for members from converted PriceSmart stores on April 9th, and Save-On stores on April 10th.
